Are you an avid online shopper? Do you want to be a part of transforming the online payment experience for millions of shoppers? Then this may be the very job for you. As our Online Commerce Product Marketing Manager for our GoPay team, you will shape the campaign strategy needed to accelerate the growth of GoPay's online acceptance in various categories, from Marketplace, Investment, to Fashion. With relevant stakeholders in the Sales, Business Development, and Brand Marketing teams, you'll handle tasks end-to-end, from concept development to execution. You'll get ample opportunity to sharpen your project management skills, own your ideations, and see the impact of your efforts in people's every day lives.

What You Will Do
  • Know your fellow online shopper audience: Conduct fundamental research to understand how to win our customers hearts, and utilize these insights to whip up the most effective, well-designed, and relatable campaigns (the Research, BI, Brand, and Product Marketing teams will assist you with this)
  • Befriend Data and Performance metrics: Evaluate, improve, and optimize existing features to maximize adoption rates by redefining the target audience, marketing communications and branding, promotions, and channel distributions; identify the suitable marketing channel mix (from online to offline channels)
  • Crunch the numbers: Analyze our progress so far with various creative and business calculation metrics (user acquisition cost, cost per order, click through rate, market share) and see how close we are from reaching our goals
  • Love problem solving: Own the audience, know the metrics and insights, then translate the numbers into actionable insights to guide the team's next steps
  • Master of Goal-keeping: Be the project leader of various campaigns, joining with other departments and teams in aligning and achieving your collective goals
  • Drive end-users engagement by conveying the product’s value; own the product and deeply understand the market behavior towards your product

About the Team
 
Our GoPay Online Commerce team is a tiny family of four based in Jakarta, Indonesia. With the ever-increasing utilization of online shopping platforms due to social distancing conditions, we find immense value and purpose in our work. The gist of our role is to expand GoPay's online acceptance rates through various campaigns and branding/ marketing endeavors. We utilize data and metrics to understand our target audiences, their preferences and pain points, and craft our work based on our findings. Each individual on our team has their own specific duty and autonomy, and we often work with various departments to get our job done (i.e. Product, Branding, Media, Research, Growth, Legal, and Public Relations teams). 

Given the nature of our roles, we all clearly love online shopping. While we may have uniquely different personalities, we believe our team members complement one another perfectly, and find common ground when it comes to our love of good food, binging Netflix dramas, and of course, our drive to propel Gojek to all corners of the globe. We love working from home and have a strong-willed spirit to make our (online shopping) hobby into a larger ecosystem, scaling small and medium businesses in the process.
