Business Sweden – The Swedish Trade and Invest Council – is a resource available to all Swedish companies wanting to do international business. Our services seek to support Swedish companies in reaching their full international potential through a wide range of services supporting market analysis, establishment and growth. What can we offer you as an Associate in Jakarta?
You will be a part of our consulting operation, alongside other colleagues, to provide support to our clients in their international business development. The associate will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies for Swedish companies entering and growing in Indonesia. The associate will also work with projects promoting Swedish industries to the Indonesian market. Potential candidates must have the ability to combine a result- and sales-oriented mindset with research and analytical skills.
Key industries include ICT, industrial equipment, transportation, and energy- and environmental technology.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in consulting projects for Swedish clients interested in entering Indonesia
- Execute research strategies, including desk research and interviewing, as developed by the project team
- Work within project plans, keeping to internal deadlines and adhering to budgets
- Assist in event planning and scheduling meetings on behalf of Swedish clients
- Coordinate, manage and execute industry driven promotional programs, meeting programs and marketing efforts
- Participate in sales efforts – from lead generation to proposal-writing and closing deals – directed towards companies in Sweden
- Collaborate with other Business Sweden offices, as required by client projects
- Occasional travel may be required on behalf of Business Sweden or client companies
Who are we looking for?
You have a high academic degree, probably Bachelor or Master of Science in Business and Administration or/and Engineering. You have 2-3 years work experience. Fluency in English and Bahasa, spoken and written, are a requirement. Experience in the Swedish/European market is an advantage.
The position is open to Indonesian citizens or others holding permanent stay/work permit in Indonesia.
As a person you are business focused, result- and solution oriented, flexible and analytical. Social and team-working skills are highly valued as well as a passion for and an ability to handle new challenges. We take a long term view of our employees and we expect the successful candidate to remain with Business Sweden for a number of years to come.
