The position will lead and manage the planning and execution of GSM System’s digital marketing campaign and online presence across platforms and the various social media outlets. The Online Marketing Manager will also be responsible for building brand awareness and engage, drive qualified, relevant traffic to convert and derive customer insights and optimize strategies from online campaign performance. In addition, the position will work to keep GSM Systems online campaigns organized. The position will also focus on GSM System’s marketing strategy, online presence, display advertising and product launches.
Responsibilities
Lead implementation strategy, campaign execution of all commerce-oriented online marketing campaigns, including Search (paid & organic), Retargeting, Display Networks, Affiliates, Social Media
- Ensure all online content published to the online channel maintains a high degree of relevance to target audiences & consumer segments, alignment with brand voice and positive commercial outcomes
- Search & Comparison: manage evolution, expansion and optimization of GSM Systems search marketing, comparison shopping and use-case specific landing page performance.
- Social Media – devise strategy to integrate product stories & education into GSM Systems’ paid and un-paid social media programs that drives more highly qualified traffic from social media channels to GSMSystems.com
- SEO – define & manage execution of GSM Systems’ search engine optimization programs to increase relevant organic traffic, leads, & sales from search engines & social media
- Summarize, report and optimize online presence campaign delivery & performance metrics on monthly basis for both individual campaigns and in aggregate
- Manage day-to-day online campaign trafficking & execution with all social media outlets (external) as well internal (the company’s SharePoint site)
- Collaborate with management to ensure GSM Systems’ product-related content is published efficiently and accurately, while driving improvements in ROI
- Simplify the online shopping process for GSM Systems products by making it easier for customers to understand which GSM Systems products are right for them based on their budget & interests through strategy and execution of superior audience targeting, online content and campaign management
- Maintain and optimize the company website

- 5+ years of experience on managing and utilizing social media to enhance company’s on line presence.
- 5+ years of experience in Online Marketing programs ranging from Search Engine Marketing, SEO, Display/Retargeting and ecommerce content production/merchandising for web-based businesses
- Experience pioneering, defining and launching new marketing programs from the ground up.
- Proven experience managing an advertising budget to ROI goals while driving ecommerce sales growth through strategy & execution of product-oriented message-driven online marketing campaigns
- Strong foundation of aggregating, analyzing and reporting core online campaign performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of development at once without sacrificing quality of execution
- Proactive, creative problem solver with a need & affinity for telling campaign performance stories through data
- Independent individual contributor & collaborative teammate
- Undergraduate degree preferred
