Samsung secara resmi telah memperkenalkan smartphone generasi terbaru yang diberi nama Galaxy A7. Smartphone yang berjalan dengan sistem operasi Android 4.4 KitKat ini dilapisi dengan bodi metal, menyerupai generasi sebelumnya yaitu Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A3, dan Galaxy A5.
Salah satu keunggulan yang dimiliki Samsung Galaxy A7 adalah memiliki bodi yang tipis yaitu hanya 6,3 mm - lebih tipis dari iPhone 6 Plus yang memiliki ketebalan bodi 7,1 mm.
Mengenai ukuran layar, Galaxy A7 memiliki resolusi 720 x 1280 piksel dengan kedalaman 267 piksel per inci (ppi).

Galaxy A7 akan hadir untuk pasar di negara berkembang dengan empat pilihan warna berbeda: Frosted white, Charcoal black, Bronze gold, dan Blossom pink dengan harga sekitar 350 euro sebagaimana dikutip dari laman GSMArena.
Akan tetapi, Samsung hingga kini belum mengumumkan kapan Galaxy A7 akan meluncur di pasaran untuk Indonesia sendiri harus bersabar.
