Position Summary 

This BDL would be based in our Jakarta office and functioning as an individual contributor in a small team. Below are some critical success factors to this position: 
  1. Responsible to build new sales & business development strategies
  2. Being a primary relationship manager for our clients, while being able to work with the regional hub office in Singapore to provide best practice and create business opportunities
  3. Accountable to improve sales through growth and development of meaningful and profitable relations
  4. Enhance satisfaction ratings from our clients
  5. Assist in our Indonesia Sales team's expansion plans
  6. Execute seemless partnership with internal Marketing and Product teams - to help lead and implement development of new products, as well as market/account penetration
This position would report to the Head of Sales, and also having accountability to support the Indonesia Country Manager on critical BD activities in the region.

Responsibilities 
  • Manage business relationships with existing clients to assist on a variety of queries and to enhance our partnership and support to them
  • Co-ordinate Visa’s support and services across various functional areas i.e. Client services, brand/marketing, acceptance, risk and product management groups to deliver added value to client banks
  • Establish alliance partners and create new business opportunities for growth of Visa business
  • Executing deliverables with a strong client focus
  • Responsible for account planning and submission of product propositions to clients for consideration
Qualifications

Professional 
  • Recognized degree preferably in Business Management
  • Minimum 10 years of proven sales experience, with strong account management experience, project management experience and relationship management experience, business consultation experience from the relevant industry
Technical 
  • Project management
  • Financial management
  • Deal structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution
  • Good analytical skill to understand the profitability of acquiring business
  • Knowledge of payments systems and the cards industry
  • Communication skill
  • Presentation skill
  • Product positioning and marketing skill
  • Business consultation skill
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Good MS Office PC Knowledge
